Lebanese pavilion in “Shaam 2004 “ Exhibition

Under the patronage of the Syrian President Mr. Bachar El Assad, represented by Dr. Mohamed Bachir, Minister of Telecommunications and technology, the tenth exhibition of Information Technology and communication “Shaam 2004” organized by the Syrian computer society, was officially opened on Thursday 29th of April, 2004, in the new Exhibition area, Damascus International Fair.

H.E. The Minister Dr. Bachir, accompanied with official representatives, glance through the stands and review the latest world development in the technological solutions and products.

This year “Shaam 2004” was marked by the presence of the Lebanese pavilion sponsored and organized by the Professional Computer Association (PCA) with a total area of 190sqm shared by 10 companies among them PSI, Infoplus, ACT, Softflow, MDS, ….who showcased their new technologies of Hardware, Software and telecommunication.

This participation ensure the continuous cooperation between the Lebanese and Syrian computers associations to give the best solutions and to open new market spots.
The event was honored by a Dinner Party hosted by the Lebanese Pavilion and organized by The Syrian Lebanese Committee for Information and Communication Technology in collaboration with Mideast Data Systems Lebanon On Friday the 30th of April, 2004 at "Oumayya" Hall  of the Sheraton Damascus Hotel.
