| Press Release: IBM Event (June 2nd. 2004)
In collaboration with PCA and BDL, and for the first time in Lebanon, IBM brings all five of its software brands together into a series of briefings that will leverage all aspects of banking solutions connecting IBM SW products.
The seminar took place at the Movenpick Hotel Raouche, on June 2nd, 2004.
Data Management, collaboration, messaging, Web services, middleware, systems management and development tools from IBM; altogether was scaling as you need it, adapting as your requirements change and allowing you to integrate all of your technology systems to extract every last ounce of business value.
After the official opening that commenced with speeches by Mr. Jalal Fawaz, President of PCA; Mr. Ali Nahleh, IT Manager of BDL; and Mr. Bashar Kobajj, Software Group Manager IBM Dubai; several presentations were led by professionals from IBM & BDL.
This SW banking event was an opportunity to all 75 audiences (Managers & IT Managers) present from the banking sector to explore how fantastic IBM technologies can connect to each other, providing the e-business infrastructure that all banks are striving for.
